We’ve been in touch with John Arthur Elliott for a couple of years now
and can safely say they broke the mould with this one.
He lit the fuse on his high flying life as a Perth based businessman
to embark on a life changing adventure across Australia with three camels and his dog Brewski.
Channel 7 caught up with him a few months into the expedition to file this superb news story:
John’s trip took on extra significance after a medical before he took off from Perth,
which detected an early stage melanoma on his back.
From that moment on, he has been extra keen to help the Beard Season cause,
and is now one of our key ambassadors spearheading our #BeardsForTheBush campaign.
Bringing skin specialists to events in remote parts of Australia to do free, educational pop-up clinics.
It’s all in partnership with ING Bank, who are matching
every donation dollar for dollar until we hit our $25k target.
